Strategies for boosting conversion rates?

It's been just a few weeks since I started my journey in this ecommerce world and I created 2 stores - on ebay and sellvia. I have a few sales in both, but my conversion rates seem to be really low../ I have cool sellvia products and my stuff on ebayis also quite trendy but I guess my websites are just not engaging enough or something? So how can I fix it? Any strategies to boost conversion rates?

As a new online store owner on Sellvia, I'm eager to learn what has worked for others in terms of boosting conversion rates. Any strategies you swear by?

Congrats on getting started with your stores! It’s totally normal for conversion rates to be a bit low early on while you figure things out. Since you're already using Sellvia, you're ahead with access to trending products, but you're right, it’s all about making your store engaging.
    Here’s what worked for me:

First off, improve your store design. A clean, easy-to-navigate website with high-quality images and clear product descriptions can make a huge difference. People are more likely to buy when they feel confident in what they’re seeing. Make sure the layout is easy to follow and the shopping experience is smooth.

Next, make sure you have clear CTAs (Call to Actions). Your “Buy Now” buttons and any other calls-to-action should be visible and compelling. Sometimes it’s the small things that can nudge a customer over the edge, stuff like “Limited Stock!” or “Free Shipping” can make a big difference in getting people to act.

Also, customer reviews can work wonders. Even if you’re just starting out, try to get reviews from your first customers or show product testimonials to build trust with your audience. People want to know that others have had a good experience before they make a purchase.

Another thing I’d recommend is engaging content. Leverage social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to showcase your products in real life, whether it’s through fun videos or product demos. Video content is super effective at capturing attention, and it can help drive traffic back to your site.

Finally, start working on email marketing. Building an email list will help you nurture your customers, send them offers, and remind them about abandoned carts. Sellvia actually has some great tools that can help you automate this process, making it easier to stay in touch with your audience and increase conversions.

Don’t forget to keep testing different strategies! Running A/B tests on your ads, product pages, and promotions will show you what resonates best with your audience. It’s a learning process, but you’ll get there. Good luck!
