When I was around age 8, I used to hide my money underneath a lamp. I'd cut a big hole under the lamp base and stash the money in there. When the money was securely in place, I'd seal it back up. Well, I remember that I hid a good $620 in the lamp. A year passed. One day, I suddenly realized after that year that I had a lot of my money under the lamp and wondered if I took it out. I still don't know if I took the money out or not. I asked my family what happened to the lamp and my mom said that my dad probably used it to build something backyard. So I got a flashlight and searched for it. Turns out that the lamp was gone for good. From that day on, I'd call that the myth of the mysterious lamp. Wonder who found it. Pirates? Anybody else lose their money when they were young or old? What's the strangest way that you lost your money?
That's a lot of money for an 8 year old. I hope you've learned your lesson and keep your money in a safe place these days.
I can't recall any real strange way I've lost my money apart from leaving it in my pocket or in another hand bag and forgetting about it until I rediscover I had it.
I lost my money the stupidest way ever! It was 200 bucks on the internet through my mobile phone in the airport of Wiena!...It was just boring and forget about roaming-prices for that service... omg...
I lose money all the time in my house, I just keep it somewhere and forget where i kept it. Sometime i would keep the money in pocket and turn down the whole house looking for it until finally i find out what a fool I am.
like you i use to save the money inside the computer cabinet . since on one have access to it other than me .
I never lose money as like you are saying. But I do get lots of money from streets...wonder, who lose money..??
I used to hide and stash money in strange places when I was a kid, kinda like a little squirrel. The problem was, I have the memory of a fish and I moved around a lot during my childhood. So sad to say, almost every house I moved out off had at least $50 to $100 hidden somewhere that I couldn't find... gahh... a nice bonus for the new tenants
