Vegemite. Cause no matter how many times you read the product label you still have no idea what's in it.. but it tastes sooo yummie
in our country "philippines" i think the weirdest food is "DINUGUAN"...they cook the blood of a inocent PIG
In the south of Italy naples the strangest are "SAMURCHIO" and "Per e Muss" they are both achieved from pork insider
I'm going to have to track down some Vegemite.. I myself love Marmite, which according to wikipedia similar but stronger taste.. I have to try some Vegemite..
Snake and rat is kinda strange. But there are people who eat it here. Beef intestine is pretty popular in Kerala, India
Although we probably eat some pretty unusual things whenever we eat a hotdog here in the US, I don't think I'd purposely want to eat intestines of anything.
Intestine is almost an obligatory part of any home made sausage. I don't know, if hot dog sausages contain intestines, but they contain anything - animal's viscera and pieces of meat which cannot be sold as such.
The USA is really full of sugary, greasy fatening foods.. And they taste great!! LOL One of my favorites is a Deep Fried Mars Bar.. . Mmm.. A Chocolate bar Battered and Deep Fried in Hot Oil.. So good and Soo Bad..
What does it taste like? I know people in Africa like to eat wild ducks, pigs and cats because one of my family members grew up there.
What about slices of ham or some other meat, covered with cream cheese, rolled up onto a pickle... Mmmm that is really good. Is that American?
Yeah, I guess that does sound pretty wierd. People make it for our potlucks (bring your own food to share) all the time.
It tastes a bit like beef. A little harder, rubbery meat with slight cow dung flavor. It is one of the big sellers in the road side stands in the evenings.
I say that again! I just heard on the radio that kids are now burning feces and urine to get high. Yikes!
I am from the US and have eaten some strange foods. My mother always made our favorite food for our birthdays, I always chose beef tongue. I still eat it on every birthday, the butcher probably thinks it odd when I ask for beef tongue with a tear in my eye. But I think the strangest food I ever had was when my mother mixed lamb's brain into our scrambled eggs one morning. We didn't notice it while eating it, but she did tell us afterwards. My grandfather was a fourth generation sheep farmer so she had a ready source. She also made a very good tripe soup (tripe = beef intestine). I had a roommate in college who had been to Australia as a foreign exchange student in high school, I don't like vegemite Tom
Hehehe I meant the smell. I grew up in the country side and had our cows and all. So I know a cow or cow dung or fresh milk smells like.
