Strange Yahoo listing

I have a new site about 1.5 months old, consisting of about 300 pages. Google ate it up, and and all pages are indexed and I'm getting nice traffic from them.

Yahoo SLURP comes by daily but nothing was indexed. 2 weeks ago, Yahoo indexed 4 pages. When you do a site:domain.com on yahoo, it shows 3 pages listed with just a url to one of my pages on the site.

The number 1 listing however, is the homepage and has the url for the homepage. However, the homepage is not hyperlinked so you can't click it from yahoo to get to my homepage.

Is this some kind of a penalty?

Maybe it's just take time for Yahoo to index all the pages.

If you have a site map it will help.

Usually Yahoo spiders sites slowly in my case when I started my first test site home based business, pages were getting indexed on at a time and I was not in a ruch.

try posting the page you want indexed to an answer in Yahoo answers, people have been experiencing quicker indexing through that

also, it seems to be random who it works for, as some people have said that it only took 1-2 days for it to get indexed, others claim longer, I have been running some tests on this was well

Yahoo sometimes takes alot of time to index your pages. You should wait for atleast 2 months to see some good indexing and traffic from Yahoo. 2 Months means Yahoo bots on your site for 2 months. :D
