Strange Wordpress Issue

    I noticed a comment posted by my server on my new blog, you can see the very first comment ? Its ip is servers ip, what caused it to post? Do i have permissions set wrong on some file?

    It's a trackback, it means that in some other post on your site you've made a link to this post. I usually delete those or deactivate trackbacks.

    Make sure you are just disabling trackbacks when you post, not all trackbacks from other websites too.

    I wish it would see where the trackback is from and not accept ones from the same exact website.

    Where is the option to disable trackbacks from same site, i doubt it exists, so its a trackback disable for all the sites too i suppose, or i could just remove comments mannually from within same site dunno

    I´d rather delete the comments manually.
    Trackbacks is a useful feature and I don´t want to let it disabled by mistake.
    The extra effort is the same after all ;) and apparently there is no way to disable just the "local" trackbacks in al CMS systems
