Hi gang I have a quick question, somebody else has recentley used my PC, I switch it on and it appeared to have the trojanSPM-LX installed on it. Using spybot it removed the spyware (I've had the machine on now 30 minutes and haven't had a message saying it was infected). But now the windows control panel appears to have vanished??!! I've searched around for it, but cant find a reason behind it, Im guessing it is only a shortcut, if so, where is it to? Is there a file name, or is it possible to download the file?! I dont really want to format and re-install if I can help it
update > I have just downloaded the supposed latest update from the microsoft website, all appears to be ok now. Please lock/close this thread
