strange traffic to site

OK, first, Im sorry if this is the wrong section... but I have a strange issue with one of my sites. I get traffic, roughly the same times throughout the day from an IP address. My server logs traffic from this mysterious IP address probably about 10 -15 times a day. There is no referring link and they visit quite a few of my "deep" pages. This has been going on for the last few weeks, everyday, about 10+ times a day. Of course I do a whois and it returns ripe.net which appears to be a hosting company in the UK. Anyone else have issues like this in the past? Traffic has fallen slightly on this site so Im just a little paranoid I guess.

You might want to ban these IP if you really dont want to seem them taking deep dive in your website, It maybe bots surfing some kind of information. Ban them if u want.

It sounds like to me it could be a search spider.

Thanks for the responses all. Im hoping its a spider also but you can never be too cautious. I'll keep you all updated if I find anything.

Have you checked your server logs? Any decent logfile anlayzer will be able to tell you the User Agent of that particular visitor. I would do that before making any rash decisions.
