strange traffic sources :S

I checked in to see whats google analytics is showing for today... and I got one weird referrer its seems to be a script website, I don't understand how I'm getting traffic from there :S

I tested url shortener only once... and now its giving me traffic, weird!

 

Sounds like what they call a happy accident lol. Hopefully they will continue!

 

I'd count it as a blessing. I'm not entirely sure how it's supplying you with traffic though lol. Perhaps google indexed the shortened URL you provided and you're getting clickthroughs from it still?

Maybe its not legit. They could be pumping a bunch of referral spam through some proxies. Analyze the log files and see if you can find the exact url. See if your link is there and ask yourself why. If its a page with tons of links, I wouldn't care, since they could be doing the referral thing in the hopes of gaining attention and backlinks. If ifs something unique to your site, be glad.

 

did you notice your revenue go up too?

 

abit maybe use, I would say by few cents but trend is there... it has increased.
