I found out this site http://emailtemplatepro.com and it is PR6 and i analyze that a bit the result is really strange, it has only 6 backlinks on google from no pagerank sites and in total it has couple of backlinks. Also it has no archive.net links and the domain age is very new domain has been created on: 2008-08-06 Expires: 2009-08-06 Isn't it Strange for you. Has google done any mistake with this site? who can give the right answer, why is this site has PR6 even though to achieve PR6 it requires many quality backlinks and its not a easy job. Please share your views and let me know the answer i am really confused.. Thanks!
Most likely they had PR6 on another domain and then used a 301 redirect to redirect the old domain to this one. In turn the links and PR were passed onto the new domain.
If that domain has only one PR7 back link or two or more strong PR6 back links it can get PR6 even from PR0 ...
I think vansterdam hit it on the nose. Redirects is a way to sell links on a high PR site which is not really a high PR site.
It's PR3 here. Google toolbar installed on my browser that the site has PR 3 and not 6. Additionally the site has a lot of backlinks and one from .edu as well. Check the backlinks here http://www.online-utility.org/webmaster/backlink_domain_analyzer.jsp. Although that site is not 100% accurate.
1 - The site is PR3 like nacolwhite said. 2 - It has 332 back links according to Yahoo (showing 'except from this domain' and 'entire site') -https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=emailtemplatepro.com&bwm=i&bwmo=d&bwmf=s
That site might be using Google ad-words for their site and getting high quantity of visitors. Due to high visitors their PR could be 6.
