Strange things going on with my site

    Hi everyone,

Like I mentioned in the title there are some things going on with my site but I can't figure it out. I wanted to know if someone else had the same experience or someone can explain me.

The site(not the one in my signature) has 148,000 pages in sitemap. In my google webmaster tools shows 129,000 of them are indexed and the number is growing. But when I type site:url command it shows only 11,000 pages and this number is going down. A month ago it was showing 25,000(through site:url) and this number is going down every week. Like I already mentioned it shows only 11,000 pages now.

The good thing is the traffic is growing. Can someone explain me what's going on, is this normal?

    Thanks

Google never shows actual numbers for all those searches you did. So no worries.

Thanks webcosmo, but I think there could be a problem. Today it shows 8000 indexed pages through site:url. A month ago I've added an affiliated program to one of the pages, do you think it could be the reason?
