    Hello all,

I run a little blog related to IT problems , some tutorials etc etc.

Now the site is 1 year old almost to the day. About a week ago Instead of google sending me maybes 20-30 visitors per day it went to 140-200. This would be great , however check out the screen shot here

As you will see, the people dont even appear to be on the site for a second, I cant make head of these results, its killing my bounce rate.

Nothing has change on the site, nothing in the robots etc. Ive replaced the analytics code just to make sure - same results...

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks

That's weird, maybe it's google testing something.
Don't worry about your bounce rate, it's not that important

its about a week now this is happening, I think google judges quality of page via bounce rate..

It's the other way around. When someone bounces, Analytics records a time of 0. They could be spending 5 minutes on the page, but because they bounce, there is no way of calculating how long they stayed.

Can you tell where these visitors are from? Are they from search/direct/referral and are they from any particular location on the planet?

high bounce rate, is the link that link them to the unwanted pages?
Is it you do have a problem with your content?
Usually people would start to worry when their bounce rate more than 60%.
but the traffic you show only one and one separate which may not give you a good result on traffic.
