Google is producing strange results for article sites like ezinearticles and articlesbase, might be Google is no more indexing articles pages also indexed pages are not coming under link:site.com command.

Also backward links are not working in most of the sites.

The pages which are coming under site: command are only category pages, tags pages and author pages.

    Any comment?

I would not be surprised at all if Google decided to greatly diminish the benefits of article directory links. It is fast becoming the current most exploited seo strategy. These junk articles are quickly dilluting the web. Whenever there is a strategy that easily affects rankings, Google likes to go after that strategy and take away its seo benefits. Mostly it is to clean up their results and limit rankings for spam websites. I think it is also Google flexing their muscle and showing that they have a vast amount of control over the entire seo industry. Now watch how fast seo's jump off the article marketing bandwagon to find another decent strategy to obsess over. Of course we'll have to wait and see if this is definitely true or possibly just some type of anomally.

Don't assume that Google is de-indexing article sites yet, we need a lot more evidence, not just a couple people who say it's true.
