Strange problem

  1. #1
    I registered one domain name . www.nokiaguru.com . and chaged the nameservers to my hosting acount at dreamhost. but when i browse i can see only a parked page. But when i used a proxy i can see the index file i uploaded .

    please check the site and let me know.

    Incidentally, did you get Nokia's explicit approval to use their name in your domain name ? Because I've worked with Nokia and they are very protective about having their brand name being used by parties not approved by their legal department.

    Well, there are a few options.

    1) Stand Firm and do nothing and wait for the legal papers from Nokia to be served to you to appear in Court or to surrender the domain name.

    2) Contact Nokia, Apologize and surrender the domain name to them.

    3) If you can proof that you have the legal rights to use the name 'nokia', for example, it is part of your name or your company's name and you are not offering any related product or services which may be directly or indirectly related to mobile phones or nokia then maybe you can fight it out in court.

    4) Stop using the domain name all although and see if you can deregister it.
