    Hi!

Please view the following png file: www.bassplayer.ro/logo/

When I look at it in Opera, Firefox and Netscape, I see it as transparent,
but when I view it in my I.E., I see it as you can see it here: www.bassplayer.ro/screen-shot.jpg

What do you think, where is the problem?

    Thanks!

the problem is IE itself, all version before the newest i think didnt support tranparent pngs. The newest version does though..

When u want transparent images in IE (and others) use *.gif files.
It working but it doesn't look that good, like *.png.

The logo from my example has an outer glow. I tried to save it as gif, with transparent background, but it mess up the edges.

Yeah, the only solution to the edges problem is to actually put the background of the page into the gif. So make the background black in your source file before you export.
