I dunno how i could think of this but i have to make sure because i know some programs and internet facilities work like this. Me and my dad uses the same paypal account he stay in Norway and i work in Thailand. The question is will paypal limit my account if they see that 2 peoples use the account because the ip's are so far away from each other 1 in Norway and 1 in Thailand so they will know that there are 2 people using it. Would this be any problem or is it safe? actually he dont uses it he just logs in now and then to keep track of it because he works in the bank, but he never used my paypal only logs in and then logs out
No, I'm sure that won't be a problem as long no money is sent by the 2 different IP's. I login into my paypal from several computers (mostly my laptop though) and never got an issue with this.
yeah because thats you and paypal know its u cuz the ip's are in the same area but here its Norway-Thailand thats a 12 hour flight. my acc is vertified by the way and its been limited before but i fixed it by senind all that info they ask about.
it may create a problem if a fraudlent activity is detected from a third party to your account. be cautious !
why dont you upgrade your account to business and make sub account for your dad. by that way you can tell paypal he is your admin who manage your business.
Yes, there is a chance of the account getting limited, but you can get it back again after providing your valid document copies and explaining the situation. Or better, you should explain the situation to PayPal right now and ask them for their advice, to avoid future problems.
I don't suppose it is a problem but I would send an email to customer services asking about a "hypothetical" situation like your own and act accordingly
let me tell you what paypal loves to do.....they wait until you have a huge amount of money in your account, and if you've done something that they have reason to lock your account for they then lock it. your money stays with paypal for 6 months earning them interest, then they release it. if you've done something to give them reason to lock it, they wait until you have a lot of money and then try to withdraw it, it's been done over and over by them.
my mom had it happen to her, because i had an account that i'd misused (tee-hee), so they said her account was related to mine (although mine had been closed for two years before she opened hers); she had it for over a year, then she was doing some ebay stuff, made about $1,200, and when she tried to withdraw it they disabled her account and locked the money for 6 months. paypal in my book is just a group of people committing crimes legally, i'm still pissed they did that to her. and there's no good possible explanation they have for holding someone's money for 6 months, they're not investigating the account, they're not doing anything except collecting interest. bastards.
i think it's because paypal is pushed by ebay, so most people have a paypal account, and nobody likes signing up for a bunch of e-bank accounts.
