Strange myspace friend requests

    Those of you that use myspace,
    what weird friend requests have you received?

    for example, animals, inanimate objects, or people posing as celebrities.

    i just got one from Betty Crocker.
    you know, the cake brand. lol

    i'm quite sure that betty, being 87 years old (thats if she is still alive),
    would not want or need to create a myspace account to market her
    selection of cake and muffin mixes.

    Yeah you;ll see loads of fictional profiles, TV characters etc. They are often marketing their fan site, building email lists etc.

    Yeah you get loads of them. Most of them are spammers, so best to ignore them.
