Had this displayed on one of my sites. It's set up as a standard 728x90 banner, but it seemed to want to display a second row of ads.
Nope, the code hasn't changed at all, it's in the same place it's been for the last 18 months. All i've done recently is changed it to rounded corners, and that was on the Google Adsense site. When I refreshed the page it displayed as a normal 728x90 ad should. Very strange. I wonder if Google are playing around with 728x180 ? Oh, I should say i'm browsing with Safari, so maybe this is the cause? The extra row of ads seemed to display where i'd normally get the <> chevrons.
This happened with one of my 468x60 text ads today . I refreshed the page and it was back to normal . Probably a glitch !
I second (Or is it third) what neforum is saying. AdSense has behaving a little wonky today - its probably just a glitch that Google's engineers are working on and would soon be fixing.
This is so funny, it was wonky an hour ago - its fixed now! (Not that I'm complaining). Hope you're fixed too neforum.
May be you should email adsense support and tell them about this. The ads don't look very attractive like this.
Yes, it seems to be behaving itself now. I saw it another couple of times yesterday at various times. This NEVER used to happen before they brought in the <> system.
Hmm... Great add. maeby there are working on it. After the Google has launched these ads with scrolls, there are woorking on it, ewerty day. But i don't no whi, nobudy scrolls these ads.
Nothing wrong with the adsense code! It's the code from the Google Adsense control panel and it's been in it's current position, unedited, for a long time now. It's a transient problem which goes away on refresh. Like i said, before they started fiddling about with the formats of their own ads, this sort of thing just didn't happen.
