So I signed up for an affiliate credit card site (see my sig) and as a challange I'm not going to spend a sngle penny on its promotion. I started a little over a week ago, and I have been writing and submitting articles, posting on relavant forums with my sig link, and other standard promotion techniques. I have been only promoting the link in my sig, because it is the only page that I can alter content, so I thought it would be the first to be indexed. But oh no, I checked today and all of the sudden one of these tertiary pages pops back on google, but not the page I have been promoting. How did this happen? The page that is indexed has no original content, and hasn't been promoted at all. What's the deal?
