strange entry in my httpd error_log

    Anyone know what causes this in httpd/error_log?

    This particular one came from slurp.

    It's likely the bot encountered an error and the above was part of a resulting malformed URL on page. I don't otherwise recognize it :)

    I dug a little deeper and it looks like some URLs are generating completely empty pages if accessed directly - no errors just a totaly blank page. View source on the offending URL produces:
    Digging through the logs show's this and emulating a crawler reproduces it.

    So. . .the root of the problem is an application bug.
