I have a Yahoo account and noticed I received an email saying that my password has been changed. I did not change it. I tried to login to my username and it won't login cuz someone or something supposedly changed it. Now I can't login to my email and a lot of important stuff is in there. Whenever I tried to use the "retrieve password" page, it shows my information is all wrong, then when I use the "retrieve ID", it shows my username is my actual name, not the email addy name. I emailed Yahoo more than 3 times, they sent in return a POS survey saying how they were doing, I told them to hurry the process up and that they're not doing a fast enough job. I gone as far as to call them too and still no reply for my alternate email addy. I've checked the members.yahoo page and my email is still up and running, but I can't get in, so I know I'm not banned or kicked off Yahoo. Has anyone had this problem before, any bit of help would be great, this is the 5th day I cannot login and it's stressing me out...
ouch...doesn't sound like fun to me... I once was locked out of my YSM account for a few days when I first set it up. However, when I called they were able to change my password/ e-mail etc so I could get back in. I would just try to call again. Are you sure you have the right YSM phone number?
When you tried to login, did you actually go and type the yahoo.com addy in manually or use the link provided in the email? I hope you didnt use the link provided in the email! =X
Yeah call them up immediately. If it has been hacked. Then you certainly want to stop them from using your account as soon as possible. Brad
