HI, I am getting strange adsense reports. It is not showing the complete details. If it shows the total clicks as 100 then channel wise when i add it is just 50. lots of clicks are missing from the report. How it is happening? any one have idea?
It shows your domain and channels seperately so if your channels have 50 clicks then your domain has 50 clicks and it adds then together, basically counting each click twice. Deselect your "active URL channel" and you'll get the proper results.
Ive been looking for "active URL channel" in my adsense account but I cant find it. Where is this located? I'm also getting worried today cause ive got 201 clicks and when i sum up the channel its only 94. Also if you deactivate it, what does it mean? Thanks
Yes, I have this problem as well. Sum of individual channels is lower than URL channel. This is happening for several days now, but increased today.
Same here and also on a friend of mine. Today is worst, 27 clicks total, 14 clicks chanel. It's been like that for only a few days, maybe a week.
Ahh, I've noticed this today too, and I was looking for a thread to post in. I've currently got over 4 times as many page impressions for URL channel as for the adverts, and also 6 times as many clicks and revenue. Updates have been slow for the last few days for me.
Yes, adsense is acting weird today, but don't worry, I doubt Google will run with your money, they're just playing with the script I'm sure... at least I hope I am sure.
Same here. Today's total says $30. But if I add the channels together, it's only $6 (all pages are channeled). Only 22 clicks out of 130 are shown. Something is way out of whack, that's for certain.
If I look at first page of general clicks "Overview" reporting it says I have $XX.XX but if I look at "show all channels" it only shows $.0X -- If I look at "Advanced Reports" for today it is aligned with the "Overview" total for today --- very weird...
Since 2:00pm EST My earnings have stayed the same, and the clicks have gone up on the overview, but they are not being reflected in the earnings. When I look at all channels it only shows one tenth of my clicks. I have to say I think Google messed something up bigtime with their 'system maintenance'.
Guys, this is because Google is going to show a feature where you can change your ads on your website from your Account panel meaning that you do not have to copy and paste your code over and over again. Go check their blog and see for yourself
http://adsense.blogspot.com/2007/10/coming-soon-make-ad-changes-without.html But I don't think this new feature has anything to do with reports.
Well, at least it seems I'm not the only one missing lots of channel impressions and clicks. Strangely though I have the feeling my total clicks are more than they should be so that bothers me more. Hopefully Google fixes the issue by the end of the day somehow since it's definitely annoying.
