Strange adsense behavior

This is a forum (flixforums.com) I've had for a couple of years and have just recently decided to put adsense back on.

Ads show up on all of the pages they are supposed to show up on. The only problem is that 90% of the ads are PSA's (Public Service Ads). *BUT* If you go into the forum and read a message and click "next thread" at the bottom of the page, adsense will show proper text ads instead of the Public Service Ads (although the ads are not very related to the site content). This campaign has been active for a couple of weeks now.

Strange part is that I ran an adsense campaign about a year ago and all of the ads served correctly and were relevant then (but obviously have more content now!).

Any thoughts? Google has not been helpful at all in troubleshooting.

    Thanks,
    Rob

modify your title tags to include some of your targeted keyword. also, add some more content on each pages where PSA showing and try section targeting

That may probably because there are more unrelated content, and hence Google can't decide what type of ads should be displayed in your forum site. You can try to use section targeting and see whether the problem can be fixed.
