Has anybody ever used Stormpay? I think it sucks, since the fee I believe is 6.9% + $0.69, and you have to pay $10 to reduce it. I used to use it for Stormclix, and I was one day away from getting a check from my Stormclix earnings when I foolishly let an "online friend" use the account. He used it for an exchange, which is against the TOS, and it got my account permanently banned. He said he had to use my account because his wasn't working, but I bet he knew that it was against the TOS, so he used me... Anyways, that's a long, long story, and the point is, I think Stormpay is a bad processor.
Well, you cannot blame them for having your account banned. Like your identity, you should not lend your account to anyone. If you want to put the blame, blame it on your friend.
Yes, it's your friend who got your account banned. It was against their policies, so now don't blame them. I didn't use them for a while now (After they banned some major autosurf accounts with millions of dollars) but i heard they reduced their fees to 1%.
Stormpay is a known scammer service that started as a payment service for HYIPS, they got kicked out of BBB and were being investigated in their own state. Look them up on Wikipedia.
I dont think Stormpay is good for a cc payment processor now as they dont accept credit cards from non-users anymore. And the fees was so fucking high.. personally i think Stormpay is worse than paypal
He's not my friend. I did a job for him, and he said he would pay me, and I kept asking him over and over and he kept saying, "later today," but he never did, he never did! Turns out he scammed lots of other people too. He was such a fucking bastard. Ironically, the forum he owned, he sold it, and now I work for the new owner! The irony is delicious. Speaking of delicious, I'm going to get some Cap'n Crunch. By the way, does anyone know when the Cap'n Crunch movie is coming out? Will it be R, or hard R?
I would stay as far away from stormpay as possible. The owner of stormpay, John R. McConnell Jr. has very shady past and he very likely is also the owner of netiba. Furthermore (copied from wikipedia article regarding stormpay):
That's sick, about the sponsorship thing. I am ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE who got frozen and did not get the money after 180 days. I'll email them later about it but of course they'll say no because they suck.
Stormpay is a joke. It's founder owns NetIBA (they even share the same building) and he made his money in the HYIP business a couple years before stormpay. In 2006, 12dailypro, one of the most successful autosurf ponzi's ever, made a huge withdraw to move money to moneybookers because so many people wanted to switch. It caused a cash flow problem for stormpay, who simply froze the account. When 12DP sent lawyers after them to get the money, they turned the ponzi into the feds and THEN froze everyones account who was associated with 12dp. Then within that week, they froze everyone who had used ANY auto surf or HYIP including the admin's accounts. I'd love to see what kind of total they got from all of that.
I was using Stormpay for long time but after the trouble they got into sponsoring HYIPs the service has been running low down.
Yeah Stormpay really is bad. I might get a new account and try out $1 for StormClix, but that advertising really doesn't work well.
