It seams that we all have the same issue with storage.to . One thing that you must be prepared on is that nothing can be 100% fair with anything on the internet, especially with things like these. They can alway say that your friends are from china, or that they are from coutnries that storage.to pay 5$ per 1000 downloads.
Though they claim to be from UAE, their IP shows they are from Germany.. Also they use are some German words in their mails..
trust me .. they r not trust worthy .. most of the times they don`t pay specially if ur request is little higher than usual ... and moreover they don`t reply to emails ....
Well they certainly pay,they just paid me 50$ which i requested 3 days ago.This is my second payout so far.
MY WHOLE, AND I MEAN, WHOLE EARNINGS ARE JUST ERASED COMPLETELY. !!![ I am posting screenshots in few minutes. I don't know what else should I say. There is no reason for them to do that. But...pictures will express better then words.
Same thing happened to me.. Account Balance became 0.00 USD.. But it was restored back to my original balance in a few minutes..
They do pay.. Just got my 5th payment from them.. It was for $50.. Took them exactly 3 days to pay me..

I will post my screenshots so everyone can see how storage.to play a game with there users nervs. EDIT: Here are the screenshots. 1st is made in the morning, 2nd in the evening, and 3rd is when they put money back few minutes ago. About 3 weeks ago I asked them to add MoneyBookers as a payout option. It was a time when they add paypal as a payout option. This is what I got as a respond from them. This is the part of message I received on 11. jul As you see part of that quote is similar to what you got as a respond on ePassporte request. Then I ask them to add ePassporte. Here is the message that I got as a respond on 19. jul After some time passed I asked them what is the status about getting an ePassporte account so that they could add ePassporte account. This is the message that I received on 30. jul And now they gave you that answer. Looks like there are robots answering with almost the same way I asked about adding MoneyBookers. They just exchanged MoneyBookers with ePassporte and sent you the answer. I really hope that they will add ePassporte. Thank you very much for requesting them to do that !
addy220, you need to log into your account. Then on top of the page click on 'Upload'. Wnen the next page load, you will see 'UPLOADCENTER'. Just below that you can pick 'Remote'. Click on that and you will get a field where you can copy-paste your link. After you add a link you press 'UPLOAD NOW! When download finish, you should get a new storage.to download link. If your page become blank, just reload storage.to page and then on top of the page click on 'Files'. You will find your link there. If your link show that is 0 MB in size, just waif for couple of minutes and you will have a link with file of its full size. I check there IP location and it is in Germany. Than I used email tracing to see from where they sent me the last email that I got from them, and it is the same location that you get by checking IP address. So it seams they are (or he is) located in Germany. It's somehow between two of the bigger German cities, Dortmund & Frankfurt. So maybe if there is some German visitor of this topic, he could know where exactly that is. Here is the picture: To conclude my 'researches', ...I really don't understand what can be a problem for German citizen to open an BUSINESS ePassporte account.

george101, point in all this is that this is the topic where we talk about everything that has something to do with storage.to. And, to be 100% clear, it's more important if we talk about bad things that are happening with some hoster, better then just keep getting happy without reason. If you got paid by storage.to, that's ok. If they play with our nervs by removing our earnings for couple of minutes and then put that back where it was, well....that is NOT OK. And the main purpose of the board is to allow everyone to share there own experience or thoughts about something. It seams that you like storage.to. OK, that's good. BUT what is the point of you replying here just to ask us that...(I don't want to say) kind of question. Or to notify us that we have lot of alternatives. We DON'T have lot of alternatives. Maybe there are lot of scams, but these are not alternatives. And I don't want to waste my time using some hoster that is already banned on most of the boards. So for any other alternatives that pay with the same rate as storage.to and that they are not bad for free users and not banned on 90% of biggest boards, you are very welcome to suggest that here. But keep in mind that this topic is only about storage.to issues. It would be bad if it start to be about any other hoster. But you are free to suggest good hosters. For instance...I am looking for some hoster that pay with the same rate as storage.to but for files smaller then 90 MB and that he can pay me on ePassporte. Got any suggestions?

I don't hate storage.to. If I hate the hoster I woudn't even start uploading files there. I was using hotfile before they did what they did. I only don't like how storage.to behave right now. You wouldn't freak out to watch how your hardly earned 100 USD are became 0.00 USD? I wasn't earning that in few days, so that I could say 'oh, well...' I spent almost a month to reach that number. And offcourse I don't like what is happening with them in last 10 days. You can't even receive a mail respond from them. About these hosters... I did a research. I admit that I didn't heard for some of them. But most of them have some restrictions or they don't support payout thru ePassporte. Since you listed them, I believe you are using some of them. So cmon, review the best ones here from your own experience. Don't worry, you didn't offend anyone, but it was a little....strange question that you made. And also, it's not good to just turn your back on what you earned with hard work in last 30 days. 100 USD are small amout for some ppl and for others is not. But anyway nobody is crazy to throw away 100 USD just like that. Hotfile changed the rules. New hosters coming out on the market almost every few days. It's not good to change so often hosters, and it's not good to pick some that works best for you but sucks 100% for free users. Because if free user get some shi*ty download speed, they will not use it, and they will not even think about buying a premium no matter what. You need a balanced hoster. Also, lot of hosters do not allow pr0n material. So by using them you are risking to get banned and your account deleted. Offcourse, hosters will not ban you so fast. They will wait until you do some work for them (by spreading there links), and just when you reached some sum, they will close the door for you. So picking up a new hoster is not so easy. You must take all in considaration. Again, you didn't offend me. Don't worry about it.
well from my experience, u have no option, but to change filehosters after u made some money from them. all file hosters will pay correctly in the start and after they are a bit famous, they simply start ripping u or shave downloads. they simply dont want to pay each and every one who upload there. i started with FileRack and made 150$ after which they simply stopped revenue system. i still havnt removed my files though. then i used HF and made 162$ after which they changed rules and i switched to ST. they have paid me 86$ so far and i have req 15$ yesterday. if they dont pay me, i will simply switch to another host
OK, but to which one? I just checked TurboUplaod ToS, and here what it says: TurboUpload So, TurboUpload doesn't work for me. Ppl lilke pr0n, and I am willing go give them what they like. Also, I can't see the rates. There is only a small fraction that says you earn 10 $ for 500 downloads (depending on file size). These hosters that advertize that way do not get my attention. Also, I don't know for any Russian hoster that is not banned already on most of the boards. So, no Russian hosters!
yea they scared the shit outta me yesterday,i almost had a heart attack lol It's not a good idea to keep that much balance unrequested,you never know what would happen.
