I tried downloading some of my files that were last downloaded "1.5 days" & "2 days" ago.. The file existed & the download process was fine..
Their site is just too bugged. Give them time to fix it. I know theyre kinda slow. But I hope they fix it. I am just curious. Is someone here who got more then 1 payment?
All ghost file problems are gone today. Old links are present and available for downlaod. Looks like they finaly fixed it.
I got my second payment.. First payment was for $30 (proof in first page) & the second one was for $40..
Well I dont know, they pay some people and some dont. My friend is already over 3 days and he still didnt got his payment.
Another problem with storage.to Everytime someone download some file that I uploaded I got this in my 'Last Download' column: 33 minutes I mean EVERY TIME. Is there anyone with the same problem? Here is the screenshot: Contacting storage.to is most of the time useless, because they are answering once or 2 times per week. They are not in any hurry to respond. I also suggested them to put 'NEWS' section on there page so that users will know if something is wrong. Or to add twitter page or anything. They keep ignoring that part of my message everytime I suggest them.
For me also, the last download column shows "33 minutes" for all files.. Hope they fix it soon.. Regarding the "News" section - its a valid point.. But its a new site, let us give them time..
So 33 minutes is not only my case? Ok, then. I am giving them a time. For every bug that they need time to fix it, I understand. But why is the problem for them to make a NEWS section? Or make twitter page? Not letting your customers stay in the dark is one of the most important thing. And it doesn't require too much effort. Another thing: Since I had a little problem with hotfile recently not being able to receive money on my paypal account, I tried to ask storage.to support if they could add ePassporte as payout metod. They said that only few asked for ePassporte. So guys, even if you can receive money on paypal, please ask storage.to to add ePassporte payout metod for at least sake of us who can't receive paypal money. Cmon, help us with your requests. Does anyone experiencing dramatically change in day earnings? In last 4 days my earnings dropped down for over 50%. That is quite strange considering that all my links are still alive, and that I keep refreshing my topics with new material. Also my downloads counter shows: 8822 Downloads but my Account balance shows: 72.26 USD If we say that every download is counted as 1 cent, then my acount balance made 7226 downloads (72.26 USD). Now, I know that from some countries download is payed $5 per 1000 unique downloads. But since I am posting mostly on USA and western europe boards, who can prove that my files were downloaded in last 4 days 1596 Indian ppl (or russian, or turkie ppl). I woudn't believe in that explanation, so the only conclusion may be that storage.to started shaving downlaods. What do all of you think?
Got my 4th payout.. It took them 5 days to approve it.. So they do pay.. @ dduck - Even my earnings dropped.. I also think that they started shaving downloads... BTW, what happened to the other Storage thread?
For how many % your earnings dropped compared to earlier earnings/day ? Other storage thread was deleted by mods because someone was advertizing himself too much.
i was getting more than 10$/day and not its just 2$ or below for the past two days. they have seriously started shaving downloads. i send them a mail regarding this and this was the reply i got
Yes, they can always say that 'downloads come from coutnries for which we don't pay' OR they can say that downloads are made by ppl from countries for which they pay $5. My earnings were constant every day until 4 days ago 'something' happend. That something is what I fear, since I don't share on Turkish and other $5 boards. This is how many downloads are not payed on my side: My downloads : 8822 My account balance 72.26 USD I made 6 premium members which means: 6x2 = 12 USD And I bought 1 month premium for myself for 6.5 USD So... if you subscribe 12 USD (made by new premium members) from 72.26 (my total earnings), you get 60.26 USD If you further add 6.5 USD that I spent buying premium for myself, you get 60.26 + 6.5 = 66.76 USD So...my downloads generated 66.76 USD Since I am not sharing on other then USA or Western Europe boards, we will say that every download is worth 1 cent. So 66.76 USD = 6676 unique downloads And..when you compare 6676 with my actual (official) downloads, which is 8822, you get this: 8822-6676=2146 cents (or downloads) So where the hell are my 21.46 USD ? (2146 cents) I may agree that some ppl from India, Turkey or Russia found my links. But 2146 downloads from these coutries??!! NOT POSSIBLE !!! btw. george101, when did you received that answer, since I sent them one letter yesterday, and one letter today, and I am still waiting for the answer?
My earning has dropped over 50% since the last few days,almost half of the downloads are not credited into my balance stats.Hopefully they'll fix this soon.
No, there is nothing to be fixed. It would really surprise me. They did this for the reason. If it was ok until 4 days ago, why would sudenly change it by itself? Off course I would like to be wrong.
