[storage.to] 'remote upload' issue...anyone?

Well I couldn't keep my mouth shut ;-) So here's my storage.to experiece. Reged a few days ago for dl's primarily from the paying countries.
I#ve got a screen but cant post it. Anyways for 215 Downloads they payed 0,96 $.
I gotta be careful not to spend it in one piece *lol*

IMHO I think the shave like a razer :-D

aint.it.johnny, as I said before, they are counting the points ($$) slowly. All the downloads are counted right away, but the money earned from those downloads will be credited some hours later, sometimes only on the next day. Maybe you should check your account balance later and see if was credited more money.

hsirah86, these are good news. I hope they keep doing this and paying the people quickly. So far I have requested only once and took 6 days to be paid.

Right now I'm trying to collect as much money as I can and then request for payout. But that thing is going really slow. When I started working with Storage, I took 1 week to reach $15. Now I have earned about $11 in 3 weeks. And I know I have more money to be credited. The download average is the same, however it is taking forever to have the money credited.

 

a_personwell I'd love to say wow you're right ;-) But it turns out the few points they turned into cash after a while... it's just penuts ;-).
Currently my account has 242 dls and 1.04 $
I aint no math proffessor but fellas you do the math and and correct me if I'm wrong but this don't look like something remotely close to the advertized 10 bucks per 1000 dls ;-).

10 USD for 1000 US & EU Downloads

5 USD for 1000 RU & Eastern Downloads

 

yep I'm aware of the countries - thanks anyway. Usually i post 3 Mirrors DF, Storage.to and RS.com
In addition the stuff uploaded on storage.to isn't very interesting for non-high paying countries.
So what, I'll give it bit more time and see how it turns out.
Despite the bad reputation and the lousy payment-plan maybe I'll give hotfile a chance.

 

How do you rank the hosts: DF, Storage and RS in terms of earnings? Which is the best, and the worst? Why? Thanks for your sharing.

 

Ahhhh I've written a page or so and than had a power-blackout
So I keep it in a nutshell.

~1MB files
1.DP Mirror megaupload

bigger files like e.g. 300 MB spilt into 100 pieces
1.DP 2.mirror storage.to(depending on audience) and 3.mirror RS or megaupload
DP only pays omly for one dl per IP. However as freeloader you aren't hot for waiting so u use mirror 2 storage.to and finally the 3 dl source. This way u earn for all 3 pieces. However RS is a bit tricky since there are a lotta premium-leecher out there so keep track. However the grant points for up to 250 premium dls. RS points can be redeemed into premium passes for new stuff or amazon vouchers and what not and if ur really good traffic wise you can sell them(gray area).
Megaupload only gives u points for uploads smaller than 100MB and u really need some traffic to reach the cash-ranks.

upload.to also pays for files above the a level 50KB but lemme tell u this u don't accualy earn for the dl but for the ad layer they show. And this layer has to be open a specific time and bla bla. Plus the company has like RS there server located in germany and they have there postbox in switzerland ;-). Since I#ve been told there a people out there that are not just uploading mp3s of there wifes singing ;-) there are some serios risks. And uploaded.to reduces ur revenus the amount of the german TAX which is like 20% :-(.Evene the fact that there paying up to 10 EUROS per 1000 layer views cant make up for a 20% cut in the end.

Having said all that I'm still looking for a substitut for the uploading.com 1ct paying scheme for 1 MB uploads. So fellas lemme know if u got some news on that.

It's down again. It was down yestearday too. I hope they are fixing something to work better.

That's because you are flooding forums with your one topic / one post 'quality' contributions. Maybe it's time for you to start sharing....well...you know exactly what I mean.

 

They should really fix that "Download failled. Please try again later" thing. Lots of people are complaining about that...

 

From today, opening storage.to site is slow, with big lag. Anyone experiencing similar thing?

You may send them tons of emails, they just ignoring them. I can't understand how they think that kind of behaviour will help them with future users. Their support 100% sucks. Its like talking to walls. You talk but nothing comes back.


Did anyone got paid today, or yesterday?

I keep seeing ppl complain about requesting money last week and they still waiting to get paid.
