[storage.to] 'remote upload' issue...anyone?

Discussion in 'Affiliate Programs' started by dduck, Jul 10, 2009.

As of yesterday, I started having problem while trying to use 'remote upload' option with storage.to.
Everytime I try to use it I am receiving the same message "unautorized access".

Does anyone have the same issue, or it is just me?

I sent them more then 1 email in last 24 hours and I am still waiting for them to respond on at least one.

I am getting faster respond from rapidshare support stuff, even if RS is far bigger hoster then any other.

Use other storage services, like rapidshare etc.

Does anyone still have problems with storage.to remote upload?

Everytime I try to use remote upload I got file that is 0 KB in size.

I am using direct link for the file. I tried both Firefox and IExplorer and it's the same.
I tried putting the same link in my download manager and it is working.

I am not using RS links. I have direct link to some site. I even tried different direct link to some other site, and it is the same. I always get file that is 0 KB in size.
Few days ago, I had no problem like this. (username : password@ is included in link offcourse)

    Here is the screenshot:

    Anyone with the same issue?

Also, some ppl on few boards contacted me by reporting some of my files doesn't exist. I checked my uploaded files. And they are still present. Also there is count that says that ppl were downloading that file. But when I try to download it, it's says that it is not available. Contacting storage.to doesn't help because they answering on email....probabbly once evey year.

I also get the 0 KB problem.. But after some 10 mins or so, it shows the correct file size instead of 0 KB..
For you does it remain in 0 KB forever?

They do reply to our mails.. I got response from them after some 3 days..

hsirah86, yes in the meantime I noticed that after ~15 mintes those 0 KB file size become full size. But here is another problem:
Ppl keep reporthing me that some files are not available for download. I checked these files and they do exist, but when you try to download these files, you get the message that file doesn't exist.
But that is not the biggest problem. Real problem is that I tried to reup the same files, and I got new links for same files with actual file size. But when I try to download these files from new links, guess what? ...yes, that's right. Same thing is happening. File is not available.

For everyone who is concerned...go to your files and see when was the last time that they were downloaded. Look at those that are not downloaded in last 24 hours. You should see something like '1 day' or '1.3 day'. Then try to activate download of these files. You may find that you have the same situation like me.

I got respond from storage.to concerning remote uplaod issue, and they told me this:

So...that might be a reason why I see these 'ghost' files. They are here, but they are not actually here. Because nobody can downlaod them. Maybe something went wrong with new server.

Anyway, it's very bad to see file 0 KB size and then after you waited for 15 min, you get your file uploaded. That is very bad experiance. I am even a premium user, and that still doesn't change anything.
