Stopping Wordpress <!--more--> Duplicating Posts

    I use the wordpress <!--more--> tag to split posts on the main page.

    Its a good option for me and I want to continue to use it.

    My problem is that the "more" link placed on the index page points to wwww.mysite/postslug/#more-yyy where y is the post number.

    The reason this is a problem is that the real post is located at www.mysite/postslug/

    Believe this is creating duplicate content.

    Has anyone seem a patch or plugin which will make the "more" link point to the real post page ?

    Any feedback greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried using the read more icon when making the post? I have attached a screenshot.

    As far I remember the named anchor part of a URL is never spidered. :)
