Suggestion Stopping New Members From Posting Link Until They Reach a Certain Post Count?

I admire the attempts you are doing to reduce spam on the forum. I think you could reduce it even further if you blocked new members from posting links in a post until they reached a certain amount of posts? Nothing too high, say 10 posts? I think it might stop the wave of people who only post one spammy post and then disappear into the night. :)

    What do you guys think?

It's always worked that way already.

Ah I didn't notice that they were not click-able. Thanks for setting me straight Shawn. :)

Is spammers were a little smarter, they probably wouldn't spam here at all... unfortunately they are not.

New users can't post links, all links are nofollow, spiders never sees your signature because you have to be logged in to see it (and even if they did, it's still nofollow), spiders never sees your home page URL, spiders can't see your member profile page (you have to be logged in to see it).

But spammer's friend Habib heard from his cousin that you can make big dollars by creating spam here or get thousands of links and instantly rank your site #1 for anything. False. :)
