Stopping Flash content downloading on page load?

I've installed a Firefox extension called 'YSlow' and it says my website is 1933K big... the reason it says this is because it is counting all the Flash videos I have hidden in expandable sections. I thought the movies would only take up file size when the user clicks the expandable link.

Can someone tell me if my website really is that big for a normal user?

If it is then it would be awesome if someone could advise how I fix it so the movies don't contribute to the web page filesize.

You could use jQuery to add the tags to the Flash files only when a user expands your hidden sections. That should make your pages load much quicker.
