I made a withdrawal on 08-Apr-2010 still shows pending...My previous withdrawal came to bank within three days. theres something wrong again... lets wait.. may be a lot of people withdrew on 08th or 9th due to that paypal notification and so theres a delay in processing.

I think paypal stucked with too many Indian regulations and rules , this will lead to so many problems and the result, no one including Paypal will follow the rules properly resulting in the corruption/failure of the system. We know how it all works in India.

i got it in my hotmail account, ... a personal account

i did NOT receive it for my business account.

that email was NOT sent from paypal servers, or from a recognizable paypal email, it was sent from paypal @ paypal.com ???

there has been no talk about this on the blog, or any official confirmation or denial from paypal, even after the bloggers and forum talked about it may just be a phishing email

some people have talked to spoof, and farhad, but paypal terms mentions nothing!

so i here take it as water under the bridge,...

and am more concerned about not being able to enter my PAN card into my personal account, seems i can only update one account, and i updated my business account first.... and i cant delete it there.... what a mess!

well humm you are just acting as a preacher. If you had your money stuck in this madness of PayPal 'technical glitch' you would also be here with everybody 'spreading rumors' . I also did not get any email from PayPal, but I don't think that these are rumors, our reliable and long time members of DP have reported this. If they'll not discuss it here, how will others like me come to know. Had it not been for these rumors, people would not have posted about the stuck payments and I would still be having the "pending" state on my withdrawal. It was with the help of these members that so many problems get solved. If you are so bahadur, don't pay any attention to these 'rumors' !!

    confused_freelancer i have a question for u?
If u are talking that all users should believe thatthe mails recieved from Paypal are not phishing but true
then why Paypal is just sending mails and not updating the new rules on their blog?

We are discussing about the rules mail which some members received not the withdrawl stucked matter so, dont discuss that matter in this thread. There is already a thread going on for the withdrawl problem. So you should discuss it there.

We are not here to discuss withdrawal problems but some nonsense posted in the section about:
    1. Fund using CC
    2. 30 withdrawal limit
    3. No withdrawal and money returned to sender

    and a more of nonsense...

I am against those loser's of this section who are giving sleepless nights to other member and friends at this section who are already worried about their withdrawals and other problems. The more the baseless nonsense is talked about, the more tension it gives. Ofcourse I am also a victim of Paypal and RBI here and have a lot of money help up, but I don't want to post about something that doesn't yet have a stand to support.

I hope you get my point. I am in no way associated with Paypal. I am here to stop things which result in sleepless nights.

what make you think that email content posted by hundred of people here regarding 30 day window and forced to used CC in future is baseless.

The email is 100% valid as it contains our names.
    Only few options exist :
1)Paypal is in process of apply that rules
2)Paypal send the email by mistake to Indian users
    3)Paypal database was hacked

So what is uselss to among there 3 to discuss here

Simply put, the blog is never the official channel for intimation, the terms page is

And the terms page has been updated with future policy updates for south africa and brazilian users but no where for India, ... so people saying the email is true, have a good nights sleep and think again!

It was a phishing attempt, and nothing more to it,.... unless paypal updates its terms page or the blog, i won't waste my time thinking about it!

There is no mention of 'forced to used CC in future' infact the so called email suggest that the system has already started. But if you use the funding option, it uses your paypal balance.

Policy update states the terms are for south african users.

Therefore there is a strong feeling that the news is a rumor.

I'v still not received such email from Paypal yet, it looks like it is meant for South African users, (as their recent privacy update says) NOT for Indians, because im still receiving and sending funds from indian, and to Indian clients as well.

    LOL

Tell Me People That You 'NEVER' Made Transaction With Paypal.
    Not Here In DP Too........

Its Not About To What Email Provider You Got The Mail.

If You Say, How The Mail Sender Is Able To Know Your Name, Then You Have To Check Your Paypal Account, With Whom You Have Made Transaction With Your Paypal Account.

And I Guess, Some Spammers Are Here In DP Too.
I Am Not Pointing DP Directly Or Indirectly, But This Kinds Of Threads Are Getting Huge Traffic.
