    Hi,

I just lunched RetinaPost an anti-spam plugin.

    What it does:

    • helps increase user interactions on your site. You can choose to use your feed or custom text to inform or guide the user to read more articles or to perform other actions.
    • fights spam by presenting a challenge.

It's a more friendly and engaging alternative to reCaptcha, SI Captcha.

This plugin will be active developed, it will be one step ahead of spam bots.

    wordpress.org/extend/plugins/retina-post/ or retinapost.com/wordpress

    Please install and give feedback
    Thx.

Askimet and RetinaPost are compatible, you can use both.

If you use RetinaPost or other plugin from the same category you will REDUCE Askimet job, thus you can make it easier to manual verify spam messages marked by Askimet.

Now you can make user Read More like related posts, top headlines & fight spam.

Display blog feeds or simple useful messages to engage user to READ MORE and improve pageviews. The new "Post & Read More" button will be displayed after comment form to encourage the user to view other posts.

    • Demo (insert a comment to see how it works): blog.retinapost.com
    • Download from: wordpress.org/extend/plugins/retina-post

Interesting idea. I will have to take a look and perhaps try it out.

    Thanks.

Nice idea, but how does it work for people who do not have images enabled?
