Stop looking for Article Directories, I have the perfect list.

To be honest I was tired of looking around for decent article directory lists only to find that most lists are now out of date and are not being updated :/ So I have decided to start compiling my own list as I believe article marketing if done right is perfect for link-building and traffic generation.

Honestly speaking, I must admit that your list is pretty good and updated.
Do you plan to keep the list updated?
Also, do you personally think that submitting articles to those resources is still worth of the time taken?

 

Hey @nicbos thank you for the feedback. Yes I will be doing my very best to keep this list updated and will try to add a few more. I personally think that submitting articles to those directories is worth while as long as its informative and not just spam type content, this method will drive both traffic and links to your pages.

Nice list Nicholas, I like the fact that you are only putting good quality sites on the list.

Many that I have found around the web are older lists with several listing for sites that are no more.

A few of these I have never seen before, so I will have to take a look at them closer.

Thanks @ulterios Yea the plan is that I am only going to list directories that I personally use or that I would use. I agree with you, most lists around the web have not been updated in years, so hopefully mine will take center stage at some point. Please do and stay connected for more!!

 

That's great, that's how I would do it if I was making one. I figure, why post a website that I have not or will not ever use myself.

I'll definitely keep an eye on the list (I bookmarked it) and check out any of your other posts. I put you on my follow list so I can keep track if you post anything else or do any updates.

 

Announced just over a month ago and the list is now 404.

 

List is too good no doubt. But I think for directories niche related sites is most important and valuable too. Anyways thanks for your efforts.

Do you get approved articles with backlinks in all these sites, for me it is certainly not the case.

 

The reason they are quality websites is because they don't let any crap seep through, yes you can get back links and traffic from these sites if you do it properly.

 

I thought Ezine was a lost cause.

Great list! Thank you for putting it together. I've been getting so frustrated with out of date directories recently so this is a big help

 

For a newbie on this forum, appreciate the list. I am looking into Articles Marketing being my next free traffic generation strategy.

The one article marketing source highly recommended on the internet is ezinearticles.com. It has even been mentioned that for article recommendation/linking purposes they want to be first to have articles submitted before any other site. Do you know if this is true or I am misinformed?
