Stop doing Internet business do something productive

Living on a farm would certainly be enough to make me agro.

Just because a certain proportion of people on DP have little clue what they are doing, and no practical plan to gain success, do not judge others. The majority of products in BST are not worth buying, and I am baffled as to how they keep on selling. You have to do what works well for you, not for someone else. If 1,000 people fail as a webmaster, that doesn't mean you will, and it certainly doesn't mean you will be gullible enough to follow their mistakes.

 

I've got it. I'm starting an online business to sell birds and eggs online. I'ma be a millionaire, watch out.

On a more serious note, people are going to do what they are good at. For you, it might be swimming around in bird feces fishing out eggs. For me, it's internet marketing.

You cannot depend your life on just online marketing.

But its also true some people can live just by singing. But even if you sing all day night you can not survive liks those people.

But firming and other nature oriented business live stock fishery and poultry etc have very good chance of prosperity.

Today a newspaper news came in my country saying a fishery man with 5000 USD initial capital now became 200 000 $ owner in just 3 and half years.

Think of it

Say you take 5000 chicks.. (baby chickens broiler)

Grow them in 35 days 1.5 Killograms with proper food water and shelter.

Now you can sell them in minimum 40% profit.

Same for fish
Same for cows
Same for goats.

But now you take 5000 domains.. Grow them up. But there is hardly chance of any success or fixed commercial value when you going to sell them.

Fish GOats Cows Chickens DUcks Quels Milk Eggs etc are real life products and have good win win chance of success.

Domains Webpages scripts etc are virtual things and have little or minimum chance of profit. Also its very hard work compared to real life business. Although it seems its very easy and very little cost. But its 200% more pain..

 

Farming chickens what about the cost,smell etc not to mention the government health regulations, disease, laboujr requirements. Im much happier in my clean house and comfortable chair. The only animal I like is my wireless mouse.

i agree with you and its almost true.i have seen lot of people wasting time on PC but if there is proper guidelines we could make some money from online but most people wont success here.agro business is good ..and as far as i know there is one way to make good money in online ..not affiliate products,mlm,hyip,ppc etc .. ...THE ONLY WAY AND BEST WAY I KNOW IS FOREX TRADING AND GOOGLE ADSENSE!

 

That's right if you do online business you lose much of health and eyes,

Your suggestion is great but can you explain me that if I don't know that business perfectly do you think I will be successful in any business which I don't know anything about it.

Do that business which you already know it and you are expect in that, people always things that this business is not working for me but they don't open their mind and stick to what they know.

People don't learn more, they seems that they knows everything to run business. People shut one business and start other business, I think it is wrong to shut one business and start other business. Focus in one business, be successful in that business and start another one. This strategy is not only for online business but it works for everything.

Sounds like you had bad experience in online biz and you are pissed... I dont think its as ugly as you described.

 

While agribusiness is definitely not for everyone, there's a lot to be said for being outside in the fresh air and doing physical work. That's easy to forget when you're sitting in front of a PC for hours on end trying to make a buck!

 

OK, so I must give up on mans idea of work where I can be creative and apply my brain to God's and start killing chickens and fish!

Actually I quite like the idea, but somehow its cheaper in our country to own a computer than go by land for a fish farm.

 

Then so called God pops his head in with a new disease and wipes out all your livestock. Win!

Then How Many people can start with 5000$? and how many people became rich in this idea? its not a bad idea.. But trust me.. 200,000$ in three years is too long considering the work you will put into.. lol.. some people start even with nothing online.. and 200,000$ is done in two months stable..

I can bet online stuff is the fastest way to make money than any traditional stuff.. you can loss your eyes maybe if you do all the work.. but man.. you can always have your own team. like you do in agri business you cant handle 5000 chicks your own.. youll need workers too.. same as online stuff you need to leverage too.. and besides.. 5000 chicks? handling the manure isnt that easy yourself.. i knew how to run this since im 5 years old its my familys business to do poultry and farm stuff.. But i never wanted to engage in it. i make more money still online that hectares of land my mother run.. and the RISK is always higher.. Fowls. Avian FLu, Pigs, FMD etc..

Online Stuff all you need is creativity and good ideas.. right people.
But if you fail in those.. well i have to agree go to farming. if you have any idea about it.. but online stuff still easier to learn than farming and agri business..

its funny you buy 5000 domains? and non succeed.. that must have been the stupidest online entrep i seen..
goodness some domains alone with premium name is worth 100000$ if you know how to market it.. even without developing it.. but a average site will always sell higher than how much you paid for it when registering.. 8$ domain with a simple setup can already price 30$ Up.. Multiply that if you own 5000 domains..

i bet thats still easier than handling manures, sick fowls, the smell of the pigs pen.
and cheaper to start always..

 

It doesn't wok in the place whee i'm at least.
Earning online is far easier than working in a field or running an agro business.
The min. wage rage here in India for working in a field or in poultry is not more than $3 a day. But i earn the same in 30minutes writing an article. So isn't this more comfortable?

On a serious note: Do you know how much google an internet based business earn? I am sure it would be less than the poultry business
Its hard, but you have to dream big and with internet you can impact billions of people, I love this part.

 

Farming is dying and they'll soon put restrictions on it because of global warming and the link to farm animals. The internet on the other hand isn't regulated and isn't restricted, it's open to everyone from multi-millionaires to people with just a few dollars and it's growing rapidly! New countries are being liked up to the internet every year, over 1 billion people already have access to the internet and I believe that number will double in the next 5 or so years.

 

Well you waste a load of time online if you don't apply yourself. I guess the poster thought there was a magic way to make money online...tut tut

If someone had experience growing chickens and enjoyed doing that work then all the more to them. Sure it can work, but it can also fail. Just like an internet business. I am building online businesses because I enjoy this kind of work and it is my background.

You can compare raising chickens to buying domains, but that really isn't looking at the details. What is the cost of each chicken, in terms of money, labor, and time before you can get a conversion or sale? Compare that to someone who knows how to research a market, buy a domain, and build value into it. I would prefer buying domains and flipping sites to raising chickens because I don't know anything about raising chickens (or the chicken market), yet I have a background in Internet Marketing. Either type of business can fail or succeed.
