Hello, Google shows Adsense ads on a lot of parking domains. Example : http://dilymotion.com/ Is it possible to blacklist all parking domains in adwords ? I have try to add "domainpark" and "parking" keywords, but this method doesn't work :-(
I think that parked domains come under Google's partner network so it won't be possible to blacklist them.
As far as I know parked domains are part of the Google Content Network, not the Google Search Network. Officially parked domains using the 'Google Adsense for Domains' service, are hosted through their partner @ "oingo.com". I haven't tried this myself yet (as the quality of the traffic I receive from PDs is usually pretty good), but you could try adding the whole "oingo.com" domain to your exclude list in your Adwords account. You'll know soon enough if it works when you suddenly see a rather large drop in your impressions/clicks .
Actually they are included as both. But the good news is, you can exclude parked domains from the content and SEARCH network now. You can't exclude any other sites from the search network though, just parked domains.
I've heard 10 people say AdSense for Domains converts horribly for every 1 person who says otherwise. Can those of you who see good ROI describe what your conversion rate is relative to Google and/or Yahoo's regular search traffic? Thanks, Shorebreak
Hello, I found a solution Adsense URL referer have this format : http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads?client............url=........... So I can extract URL and track convertion rates. Then I can exclude all websites with poor conversion rates. Based on my stats, parked domains are not good for my ads. But it might be particular for my niche...
THAT IS NOT TRUE! Parking domains are in the Search Network. I have never participated in the content network, yet I can see my ad on crappy domain park pages like leatherthong.com They send me crappy traffic from countries I have opted out of!
Don't forget to check the ads blacklist at adsblacklist.com so you can exclude made-for-adsense sites. That may help.
Nice find. Great idea, too bad Google is going to treat it like a red-headed step child seeing as how its purpose is to give links of crappy sites to stay away from.
