@Gothic Love, totally agree, I suggest you replace the focous hub with another domain related to your money sites niche. @Ibanez | Jan, it's a blogging platform/host, like wordpress.com / hubpages.com / blogspot.com @tonyran, that may well be the case there, I suggest NOBODY copies the exact linking in the image, use other hosts, not the ones in that order on the image. Mix them up, use the same host twice if you like, etc. @selectsplat, once again anohter use of SENUKES, you can easily submit all of your spokes to socail bookmarking websites, but I totally agree, you need to build more back links to each spoke, even the basic backlinks, http://www.megafoo.com/free-links/ is very useful when building link wheels. @galapagos, yeah go onto their offical website to view more of it's features, if used correctly it's amazing powerfull.
This is interesting. However, your diagram is a bit confusing probably because of the lines used, they are quite a lot! Thanks for sharing.
The problem with this kinds of linking is people just copy the exact method, the they are very surprised when Google bans their site. Just build linkwheels and don't close them interlink them with other open linkwheels but not too much. Here I see too much links that points directly to your site. I should point them to a unique web2.0 site and from there to my site. Then I would build another of this complex network completelly separated from the other, this way if one of your networks is deindexed you have the other network, and the best of all, your site is never in risk.
Its a concept not a exact layout that matters. SEO is and art, not a science. Its about critical thinking. If you have ever watched your average joe use the internet they are totally random and don't make sense to your average SEO. They can't even tell the difference between a paid ad and organic search in most instances. I have watched over the should of many who dont think like we do. Don't over analyze SEO. Its about not leaving a foot print. AKA its about being random. Mix it up, do stuff off teh wall. Build links randomly. That takes artistic thinking, and thats how you don't get caught.
Cool stuff, thanks for sharing but for sure Matt Cutts or someone else from Google is studying this strategy now cheers. Anyway, it's really complex and time consuming, for now I'll just stick with the standard way of acquiring backlinks, my sites are getting good PR doing it the normal way.
Thing is that most of these websites are probably going to be treated as new as they usually are subdomains. It may be benifical to incorpeate forum posts into this and then spoke to them which could spoke to your website. Adds some age into the mix too!
I also believe in building link wheel. And you are asking to stop building link wheel. Please give me the detail why we have to stop building link wheel.
kind of like this: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1598525 And this is producing good results.
Well except that you seem to be using the term 'hub' when you really mean 'spoke', and that fact that all of your 'spokes' are linked together, which is one of the main things this thread is advising against.
Link wheels have been proven to be able to pass a lot of PR1-4 juice from your spokes to your money website, so it improves your ranking in the SERPS as well as your page rank.
Remember that PR is not important. Google updates it once in a blue moon, and it still isn't that accurate. (out of 10)
Yeah personally I'm not a PR freak, but they do carry a lot of PR juice if you go with dofollow spokes.
