Stop and beware

    Heres something new for me, might not be for some others.

    i was looking up a web designing company, found it on google.

    anyway clicked on the link and this is where it took me
    http://www.google.com.au/interstitial?url=http://www.esolz.net/

    since when did google start doing that, it says the sites a badware.. how so?
    dont get it lol.

    Yes I have seen this too, but what exactly is malware or badware, etc? How do they classify a site as being unsafe?

    One of my sites was struck with this due to a broken iframe redirect on 7 of my pages. I lost 100% traffic from Google and took over 3 weeks to have it fixed.

    If you own a site you better make yourself well aware of stopbadware, what they are doing and how to overcome the warning on Google.

    Yes, its a pity they don't catch a lot of malware though, just today I got like 3 viruses from a few site that Google didn't warn about.

    Yea a fellow myspace webmaster over on MSP made a post about this. He had to go through a bunch of BS to get it removed from his site and lost thousands of visitors a day from it.

    I live on a Mac... what's malware? :)

    It's a very handy feature that has probably saved thousands of people. and its been around for over a year (afaik)
