I'm not innocent according to any religion. Fortunatly my religion accepts me anyway.

How stupid does "we put to death people who aren't innocent" sound to you?

No wonder Islam is overrun by murderers. All you have to do is label someone as not innocent and you have a right to put them to death.

In that crazy Bible and every rational system of law on the planet punishments are attached to specific crimes. Especially a punishment so serious as death. And, this is the nuttiest part, the punishment is carried out by the state! Not your friendly neighborhood thug.

In bizarro world if someone asks you what crimes warrent death they say "killing another person" or "looking at someone crosseyed." A handful of specific serious actions.

In the sane land of Islamoland if you ask someone what warrents the death penalty they tell you "not being innocent."

    Not innocent of what?

Maybe someone can give me a list of specific crimes that would warrent death according to the Koran.

Maybe what you need is some common sense. Just because it does not support the taking of "innocent" doesn't automatically mean it condones killing the guilty. It also sais in the Koran taking any life period is wrong. Life is god's to give and god's to take and no man has the right to that.

Really? Which one of these scriptures does it say that?

There's no reason to deny through shame.

Very amusing buddy. Do you take a forum post on digital point as scripture? No one knows who translated that text. Some people have a habit of translating things to suit themselves. I however am a muslim. I have read the quran many times over.

I've got nothing to be ashamed of. You however, seem to be projecting your shame on others. What have you done to hate yourself this much?

Source was included which also has multiple translations. Sorry, that trick doesn't work. Denying the obvious is a poor start.

    Have anything better than denial?

This is just pathetic. The truth bashes Islam.

I never realized that quoting the Koran indicated that you hate yourself. No wonder there are so many suicidal Muslims.

And to think, all he had to do was show what handful of crimes the Koran advocates the death penalty for.

Why is it so hard to be honest about what the Koran does and does not teach?

Multiple translations huh? Excuse me if I don't consider gospel the translations from the students down at the university of southern california. It is not denial it is common sense which you seem to lack. Translations are at the mercy of the translator. A piece of text can be translated to mean 10 very different things.

I wish I knew. Surely "allah" would be disappointed that sezerb is so ashamed as to deny the truth. It's not like us dirty kuffar don't know :D

What's pathetic is the amount of ignorance in this forum. I am being honest about what the Quran does and does not teach. As a muslim I follow the Quran. What you are promoting is propaganda. You have absolutely no knowledge of Islam yet you are grabbing at straws to try and vilify muslims.

There are more suicidal teenagers in the US then there are muslims.

Now we're using the "translation card."

Straight out of the play book. It does get tiresome and boring, listing to the same denial and excuses.

No, you are just attacking people for pointing out the truth with verified sources and offering nothing in turn. Notice the pattern?

Your a funny man GTech. I have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. If I did I wouldn't be here putting straight your ignorant views. Some people may be fooled into thinking your views hold any weight......... or truth for that matter

You suggested that reading the Koran indicates that one hates themselves. Islam is the only religion where members are encouraged to blow themselves up.

I'm just putting two and two together based on what you tell me.

I'd like to have a positive view of Islam. I've yet to meet a Muslim that can just be honest and present that positive image. Denial doesn't do it for anyone.

No you seem to be pointing out baseless translations in an effort to vilify muslims while ignoring any argument. Yes I do notice a pattern.

You have misunderstood me. I did not say reading the Quran means one hates themselves. I said GTech must hate himself as he is projecting his shame and denial onto others. I am 100 percent honest about my religion. There is nothing to hide. What GTech calls denial is the truth he doesn't want to hear.

There is no argument. Only denial. The translations are spot on and the source includes other translations as well. We're in post 9/11 times now. The "translation card" doesn't work any more. Update your strategies please.

Here's some more baseless translations to deny. Don't forget to be ashamed when you respond :D

You sound like a parrot. All you're doing is to try and insight hate. It's ok GTech I don't hate you. I feel sorry for you. Maybe you should seek some help.

Are you suggesting these scriptures are false? If so, source an alternative please and post which translation and why you chose it.

    If you can, that is.

He's an idea. Find the verses that GTech is referencing in your copy of the Quran and tell us what they say. There's no point continuing this discussion until this task is complete.

What English version of the Quran do you recommend?
