They said that there is no Law in Pakistan for this situation. So we don't wan to lose our new clients.....
I am also in Pakistan, do you need advise which would actually work for ya? Ok, arrange a relative or friend which have some contacts/friends in local Police. After that, take 2 policemen and go to that guy's office/home and ask him to take the website down and delete the data from his PC, right here, right now. You know how policemen should talk to them. I am dead sure it would work. Policemen owe you a lunch after that anyways. ps. I know its not 'legal advise', but its how this guy's problem can be solved. Wrong. There ARE copyright and cybercrime laws in Pakistan. Contacting FIA would be helpful in extreme situation.
Hi Idiot_Inside. I know i can do this, But at that time he will delete website. And he can launch again. May be he have backup... Other thing is that, his brother is ASI in police. And they are very stupid people. They can blackmale easily! I don't want that kind of hassle. If there is any legal solution, it would be very fine for me! Thanks for a great opinion of contacting FIA....
Burhan! i am also living same country and same city Lahore and i know law and order situation in city, i suggest you that you should meet him and request him with politeness to change content and graphics and assure him that you will co-operate with him in his business. handle all situation with politics because if websouls cancel his hosting/domain, he will start website from any other Hosting Provider with any other name. then more problem will be increased. Pakistani Police, FIA cant resolve this problem, you should resolve by yourself with politics and politeness. I also understand why this man start this website, as you said when you dismissed due to his invalid activities, he decided to take revenge. I am not telling international point of view, i am telling Pakistan point of view. I have used this technique and i become successed
Other than that, try contacting his brother .. I assume that brother is elder and tell him situation in politeness as programmersbank suggested. I hope that guy will help you. But the best thing I suggest you is, move on. Yes, move on .. Remember one thing, this type of guys are losers and losers cannot compete. Burhan, suppose you get the matter resolved legally, what if he launch the site again with different name and you will never know or will find his site in millions of other websites. Will you? Tens of thousands articles and pictures go live daily and at least the same amount of people copy them without giving credit to author. So, what he have done is not a big deal. Since he has not spend money and effort into that website/project .. I am dead sure he will loose interest in that just after 3-4 weeks. All he wanted is to take the site online .. which he have done. He will not put money in advertisement or time to promote site. Write my words, he will not renew his domain and if hosting is on monthly basis, you will see the site down in less than 2 months. So, move on, you have many reasons to.
