stolen account

I used to be the nick "eitemiller" in these forums - that is my last name. Someone from the last company I worked for has decided to steal all of my Gmail accounts, and all of my nicks on many forums. PLEASE BE ADVISED - if anyone uses the nick "eitemiller" to post something, it IS NOT ME.

Mods - would you consider banning that nick?

If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

When I worked for eatstayplay, I always used the email address of . Once I discontinued working for them (I did some SEO and other stuff for them, all in-house) they decided to go through my email account, gather up all my passwords (they stole my blog as well) and start disabling everytihg.

I guess i don't expect much as far as a mod banning that nick, or whatever. Most importantly is my reputation. people in here knew me by my last name of "eitemiller" and I just want to let all know that i no longer have control of that nick here.

I started a blog detailing this, it's kinda funny, but then again, i think it is identity fraud. Blog is at eatstayplay.blogspot(dot)com - I was able to start a new blog using the nick of beitemiller.

Did they change all your passwords? Cuz you could go back in and change the passwords to lock them out.

    To the Forum:

Eitemiller's leaving from eatstayplay.com was HIS decision. There is no ball being played, hard or otherwise.

eitemiller was paid by eatstayplay.com to do SEO for eatstayplay.com. He was also paid to participate in this and other forums on the behalf of eatstayplay.com

The owners of eatstayplay.com are deeply saddened by these events. There is no ill will held toward eitemiller. However, attacks on eatstayplay.com will be delt with by the eatstayplay.com legal department. Infringment on eatstayplay.com will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

eatstayplay.com poses this question to the forum:

Is it ethical for a paid employee to redirect an employers links when employment was terminated? The SEO work was under contract as a paid employee by the employer.

The theft of identity was the theft of eatstayplay.com. All links that referenced eatstayplay.com were redirected to the new employer of eitemiller, without the knowledge or consent of eatstayplay.com.

As for why the time is being taken? Everyone is concerned with protecting a good name. The good names of eitemiller and eatstayplay.com included.

I kind of assumed there was more to the story than just what 'beitemiller' had said.

I just checked out your site- nice coverage on Hawaii :)

Thanks for the nice comment. We all worked very hard on it.

BTW we're looking for a new SEO. Interested?

I wonder how many people are on forums because they are paid to be there?

So why are you using eitemillers old account instead of setting up a new one?

That's what I was wondering. If they left and you have their accounts, why are you using them? Why not just close them down and start new ones. That way no one gets people confused.
