FOREX/Currency Converter

The Currency Converter allows for convenient conversion from one foreign currency to another. It can also show the "Last Trade" info, as well as the current "Bid/Ask". The converter currently supports approximately 125 currencies from around the world.

All stock quote data is read from Yahoo Finances CSV files. YOUR HOST MUST support fget and fopen.

I can set this up on your server if needed. I will also provide some documented instructions about the file stucture (what file does what) if needed. Please allow an extra day for us to put this together for you.

Since the site it relatively new it has not been indexed by Google yet. It does rank 1 and 2 on MSN for "stock market scripts" and "forex scripts". Also, there has been minimal revenue. Less than $15/mo from YPN.

We will be working on these scripts to clean them up until the auction ends.

I'll set the starting price at $25 . One I get a feel for the bids coming in, I will post a BIN.

How to know whether my host support fget and fopen. ?

energetic, you can check within your php configuration. Put up a phpinfo.php page and check to make sure:

"allow_url_fopen" is set to on.

Most hosts (I'm pretty sure) allow it, but there are some that do not.
