    Any one can suggest how to get an readily available stock market database. Like Wordpress theme, is database backup available in web ?

    Stock market always changing so there is no static data available...you need to get the feed from some website and keep updating your data... stock is not a zip code or telephone number database their price always changes... there is no way you can get that of if you get that will be outdated already

    Are you looking for a database of Company names, exchange and stock symbol?
    If so I would
    Scrape that information from here http://stocks.tradingcharts.com/stocks/symbols/b
