I get thousands of page views each day and I am still yet to get even one sale from my affiliates.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Any ideas?

The best way to convert your traffic into cash is Cpa leads.

    Hello

This is just my two cents...

Your sites in your signature cater to 'readers'. When I say readers, I'm identifying people that would come across your sites. They're interested in research or just curious. Those 'types' of individuals are hard to generate affiliate commissions since you are not targeting 'buyers'. Buyers are people that came to your site to buy something. Those are much easier to get conversions and earnings.

With that said, you can play with the 'reader' mindset. I see that you have AdSense. AdSense is good with 'readers' since they're clicking around while they drink their morning coffee, etc. At least you'd be getting some small earnings there. But I see you missing opportunities for presenting the user with impulse sales surrounding your niche.

    For example...http://www.bribieislandonline.com/

Here you have a great site on a fantasy island get away. I can only dream of some day visiting that spot. Yet, you have a large HostGator banner. Now, since I found this site because I was looking for a vacation hot spot, why would I be interested in hosting? Why don't you have a banner for Expedia, or offer rates and deals for potentially traveling there?

Also, on a 'side' niche idea, what kind of people would have an opportunity to visit that island? I would guess people with money, or people that hope to have enough money to potentially visit there. Seems like another opportunity to promote money related niches. Loans? Mortgages? Who knows, but some testing would be good to determine this.

I would focus on 'action' pages. Present something to the visitor that they could act on. I think blogging with text links to travel sites would be a good angle.

If you were looking to diversify, I would possible thing about creating a few store front type sites or sites that offer things for sale as part of the content. Review sites, etc. These focus on 'buyers' and conversions could be better.

Anyway.. just my thoughts. Good luck!

I changed my ad types. See what happens on the travel related web sites not.

    Thanks for the tips.
