Still seeing the old 404 page.

    Do you 301 redirect to the new page?

    Try submitting a site map to google with all the new pages then remove the old ones using the google console

    Thanks for the reply mad4. I initially did a redirect., but now it shows a standard 404 Page.

    if you are using cpanel. check the latest user from web/ftp stats menu. look for googlebot is getting any error messages. if it gets error messages like 404 or 304 try to fix them and make them 200.

    Thanx orcun, i will do that.
    What do u mean by fixing 404 errors, we now have a custom 404 Page for page not found errors.

    i want to mean if there is a broken link or forgotten to upload some pictures. 404 is a not found error for every type of file including css, pics vs.
