Still not showing up in DMOZ

    It takes a long time to get listed. All you can do is apply and wait. I would only apply every six months or so because if you re-apply to early your request will be pushed to the bottom of the list.

    Resubmitting overwrites the previous submission regardless of when you do it (if you resubmit in the same category).

    If an editor chooses to sort the unreviewed sites by date, it'll push your submission down.

    But then again, I don't think an editor is obligated to review the submitted sites in any particular order, if at all.

    You might want to try and craft a submission that meets the guidelines for titles and descriptions - I'll bet it's much more likely to catch an editors interest than being first or last on the list of crappy submissions. ;)

    who cares about DMOZ anyway...I think it's over rated. I achieved number one without it and I can show you how...white hat only always.

    Sometimes despite an appropriate submission, it seems you might never be accepted if it is a 'slow topic'. Or if the editor is a competitor in your field :(
