    hi

I have a site with 2000+pages indexed by google, PR3 on some pages (but not the homepage weirdly) and have had the coop ads validated on my site for about a week, but still no weight.

    Am i doing something wrong?

    cheers

I have just added the co-op to a PR0 site with 234 pages in the index (using the API)

Is it correct that my weight is 0?

I wasn't expecting much but 0 makes me think something is wrong.
Or is the site so weak that it doesn't register on the weight scale yet.
    Site validates no problems.

I believe index page needs positive page rank to have weight.

One suggestion - no doubt suggested before, but I'm too lazy to check :p

how about showing the PR and Count used to calculate the weight on validation...

Actually you can have a site with no pr with indexed pages and get some weight. Unless Shawn changed something recently.

    That was what I thought.
    I wasn't expecting much
    But 200+ pages - would have thought I'd have > 0

I had weight when I had PR0 - but that was before the weight calculation changes. One thing is that the API has to report indexed pages - not just google. Google shows 8000-ish pages indexed in a site: search for one of my sites, but the API is reporting under 2K per keyword tracker.

234 pages on all datacenters using the API (as mention in my original post :p)

My question is - is 234 pages enough to register any weight at all on a PR0 site.

If it is - then I have a problem with the site.
If it isn't - then I just have to wait...

well it sure sounds like I've got some problem then.
Not sure what else I can do - the ads are on the site, 5 per page.
    It validates just fine.
It is PR0 and McDar.net shows over 200 pages indexed on each datacenter
    Weight: 0

I've got this stuff working on 30+ - not sure why I'm having problems with this one, the only real difference is the PR0 on this site.

    Any suggestions more than welcome.

Well - I finally created an account on the DP Keyword tracker.
    And sure enough
    PR 0 indexed-pages 1
    That probably explains it.

I'm seeing some very strange results with this tool tho.

All my sites returning 0 backlinks - even sites with thousands of 'em and plenty of traffic from G
Many sites show PR0 - even sites with good PR and plenty of traffic from G

Also checked the keyword tracking part of the tool - and the results don't correlate to reality one bit.

As I mentioned before - I checked my weight 0 site using McDar tool and EVERY datacenter reports back over 200 pages indexed. It also reports the correct PageRank and page-count for my other sites.

Any ideas what is up with the KW-tracker tool results?

Anyway - explains the 0 weight - but doens't help me much :p

Forgive me for posting misinformation. I mistakenly thought pr was a multiplier in the weight calculation formula.

I believe it is, or is in some fashion. But the PR0 is treated as a PR1 i believe. I had weight with a PR0 site. I had about twice as much when it was a PR2
