I do not know Google but I am sure there are some different happened.I wonder if still need to set backlinks now,can you tell the best way to set a backlink now?thanks
it's hard to answer that question until we have a clear answer about the quality of your site. If people are coming to your site and really liking it and returning again and again, there can be some big benefits to getting links in front of people where they will come to your site. Say for example that 10 percent of people who visit your site return often. In that case you could see your traffic triple or more in a short. Of time because everyone loves your site. What Google has become better at checking now is if people really like your site because they can tell more by the behavior. Often people become so obsessed with the wings that there really is no benefit to the site itself. So first look at your site and decide how were the it is for the average visitor and if it will really help them compared to other sites in the same niche.
Backlinks are still a key factor of getting high ranks for your site, so you definitely need to get them. I'd rather agree with @dvduval. You should build your link building strategies depending on what your site offers, what content you have on it, what niche you want to occupy, etc. Make sure you create a search-engine and user-friendly website: audit your site structure and coding, fill it with great content, optimize content for your keywords, and people will more likely set links to you.
Although Google is using both Hummingbird and Penguin 2.1 updates, SEO off page (backlink) factor is still needed to get top ranking at Google.
Think more about keeping a surfer on your page. Also think about social signals. Being mentioned on sites like Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, etc. More and more Google is moving towards giving these criteria more weight than links.
Back Links are still important, but they're not nearly as important as unique content in my personal opinion. Having unique content will eventually get you Back Links organically if people like your content, but to answer your question about getting back links now-a-days I would talk with your friends if you have any in the same niche as you and ask if you guys can trade links or if you could buy a link on their website. Never buy back links from the sites that say "500 back links for $4.99" as those ones are done via black hat and will actually hurt your rankings. (Most people know this already so I'm sure you do, but I figured I'd post it anyways for other people that might not)
This is great when you are setting up a few blogs and make them authority sites. Being infused into your niches landscape can be very important. Especially when authorship is taken into account. If you are going the mass blogs, mass landing pages route then this wouldn't be feasible unless you are using offshore labor and even then it would be extremely difficult training them.
Backlinks are still one of the most important factors for getting a website to rank high. They need to be natural though which is what Google are always banging on about. Don't bother buying any backlinking building services but instead just focus on creating quality content and encouraging your readers to share the content as much as possible. If you can you should let them do the backlink building for you.
Also, you can make some microblogs for your site on high PR websites, guest blogging and niche related blog commenting. Diversity in anchor text is a must.
Some good advice here, however in my opinion backlinks are still very much effective. Organically-speaking. When the comments made to your site or to others have backlinks there are more chances of people seeing your offerings, hence more clicks and better page ranking. They are still very much in vogue....and, effective.
Think of it this way: without links from one site to another, there would be no worldwide web. By definition, websites are linked by links. So yes, they are important.
Backlinks are the foundation of the internet and are required for SEO and will be for the forseeable future. Matt Cutts just recently talked about this at an SEO conference that he doesn't see a future without links playing a major roll in their algortihm.
3rd option is now considered as SPAM by google, my Forum was hurt very bad in last update and it was clearly stated in Webmasters that this is due to comment spamming on forums or links from forums
i don't think so. forum participation is considered as spam!! you know forums are great source of informations and peoples used to come there for their problems. forums with high page rank will definitely add some position to your site.
did you find the reason behind this fact? as you said you know thousands of seo workers are working with forums to promote their sites, this quoted line can hurt their strategy!!!
