before i can help you more i need the following

    your site
    key words you are targeting
what other methods of promotion you are using

If i dont have this, all you will get is a general answer. We need to work out things such as competition and keyword research.

I assume it's the health blog in your sig? It's just not terribly good. I've seen worse, certainly, but why would anybody go to your blog to find medical imformation? You're not an expert, you've got no breaking news, the blog is badly written and it's dull. I know I'm being blunt, but you're just wasting your time if you're doing it for anything but fun.
If you want to carry on with it choose ONE niche - either skin care OR diet - NOT cancer - you're not a specialist you don't know enough to write about it and it's insulting and tasteless that you'd try to make money out of it.
And when you've chosen that niche write truly original content - that doesn't mean rewriting what you've read in wikipedia so that it passes copyscape - it means being personal - for example, try skin products for yourself and review them

I have just looked at your site and can tell you you are going to find it hard to dominate.

Your site is too diverse. Sure its health related but looking at your posts i can see articles on...

    white teeth
    hair loss
    scar removal

These are niches in themselves. Your readers are not coming back as the ones who want to know about hair loss, dont want to know about white teeth. You are creating niche subjects and posting them all on one site. To make a person come back to your site you need to give them regular information on what matters to them.

Having a site like this is a great idea apart from when it comes down to ranking high for each of your subjects.

I can suggest you to neatly organize your site in different specific detailed categories. I mean more organization is required for your posts. Secondly, your meta tags should also be re-framed. On the other hand design is good. Utilize is more. You will achieve your goals.
    Thanks

It definitely looks like your site covers to broad of a subject. Any chance you would want to specialize a little more on one of the specific health issues? That might help a lot.

I would try to settle on one topic like the others have mentioned, or break up each topic into their own site and optimize them that way.

You should go ahead and target long trails of keywords. This is best because your niche is already filled with lots of competition. Health, Insurance and PayDay are the most competited niche.

So, my recommendation is, try to find keywords possibly long trails which can get you decent targeted traffic!

Yeah it looks like you are too broad in scope. I would also recommend focusing on a single niche and really digging into it.

from what I checked you rankings aren't too bad, but just not good enough to gain some traffic. (end 1st page, start 2nd page).

I can help you with this.
