Still Building Links?

If Link Building is not fetching us ranks? why so many of us are investing time in it? Is it not fair to invest time in a bigger effort like SEO which includes Link Building as a part and also fetch ranks..... Your suggestions invited....

Link building is just a part of SEO and SEO is not waste of time.

Building websites and not doing SEO for it is a waste of time.

 

this is what I am saying.... If SEO can do wonders then why people are doing both SEO as well as Link Building when Link Building is an integral part of SEO?

Isn't efforts of SEO would pay for all the SEO activitties including Link Building?

 

No SEO needs link building too. Without Backlinks how will search engines know the importance of your site.

Yes if content is good enough and other people are linking to your site then also it is a linking thing that in end helps the site to rank better.

why do think people are doing something outside of SEO when you yourself say 'link building' is a part of SEO ?

 

From my own experience the backlinks are more important than SEO. However, of course you need to have your website SEOed properly to rank in Google (e.g. the keywords, titles, etc.).

 

Who told u link building is waste , don say like it, i think u have wrong information about BL

 

Without link building all your on page seo will be a waste of time. It's not a waste of your time building links. Do it for 12 months or more and then have a look at your results.

Link Building is obviously mandatory, make friends with Yahoo Site Explorer, it pays off.

Doing relevant links will increase your serp ranking don't run after Pr run after quality and relevancy
