I'm working on a sticky note program. Its almost done, I'm just finishing up the installer. The program will be available from my website, StevenBiars.com shortly (switching servers). I'm planning on pricing this program at about $1 (probably $0.99) which I think is fair given that its a simple but very handy program. What do you think? I thought about putting this on some place like downloads.com or something to earn a few bucks for books.
    • As many notes as you want
    • Clear or Opaque (adjustable)
    • Any color background or text
    • Always on top (or not)
    • Each note can have an alarm set

You should look at a licensing program that would allow me to give you an image as a watermark background to the postits, you then give me an installer and I'm able to distribute it free to my clients. Every postit is a branded reminder of my company.

You only have one lot of licensing to worry about and the big companies will pay a bigger sum for the opportunity.

    That's a cool idea.

3M (the makers of the real paper Post-it Notes) have sticky note software. But it's $19.99 which is a joke.

$19.99? I'd rather buy real sticky notes and stick them above my monitor. >_>

Suggestion: Make the background an image which is more like a REAL sticky note, that will make it look very professional mind you.

There are a few applications that do that out there, but your pricing is very competitive. I think you should go for Sarah's idea as well.

I think that's a nice idea and it goes along with a good price. Good luck with it! :D
